 Hello League-Mates! Welcome to the Week 3 Review! It's been a rollercoaster ride for some of us, others its been a perfect start, and for one of us, it's been a shit show if there ever one. I know that most, it not all, of you have been waiting and wondering what kind of mind-blowing, thought provoking material that I may have in store for this week's review.  Hello League-Mates, and welcome to Week 2 of the Fantasy Report with Carl!  After my last Pulitzer Prize winning article, I believe it would be impossible to write another article that William Faulkner would envy. That being said, I decided to focus on a song by Mama Cass. Famously, she sings, "You've gotta make your own kind of music, sing your own special song, make your own kind of music, even if nobody else sings along".  Now what could Mama Cass have to do with Fantasy Football? Not much really. But it is important to remember that the road to victory, not only in Fantasy Football, but life, is so different for every person. Some may feel that drafting two workhorse running backs in the first two rounds is the best way to secure a championship.  Hello league-mates! And welcome to a special addition of the Carl Fantasy Report. Or the Fantasy Report with Carl. To be honest, I can't remember what I call it anymore.  It's week 2, and the Thursday night game lived up to everything that has been a shit-show start to my season. And no, this is not another doom and gloom, Kurt Cobain style blog. Rather, I would like to try and put into perspective what Fantasy Football means to all of us.  Recently, I was given a book, titled, "Godzilla on My Mind", written by William Tsutsui. Whose William Tsutsui? Apparently, he's a historian with an obsession with Godzilla. I digress. It was a passage in the first chapter of his book that made me think about Fantasy Football and what it does mean to all of us.  Hello League-Mates, and welcome to my blog. I'd like to actually consider this our blog, but I am the one writing it, and maintaining it, so actually it's mine! All mine!!!!! Week 1 is in the books, and I would be remiss if I didn't say that I wasn't surprised by the utter shitty-ness of it all!
